Safe Monroe provides free, confidential emergency shelter in a safe house for anyone who is fleeing abuse and needs a temporary place to live to be safe from abuse, in a communal living environment. Shelter residents have access to our free and confidential services including counseling, safety planning, employment assistance, housing information, and legal advocacy. Our shelter is a safe haven where victims and survivors can find comfort and security and have the ability to explore their options to live independently and free from abuse.
