Below are just few examples of what certain amounts can go toward for helping survivors of abuse and their families at Safe Monroe
- $500: Assist in housing relocation for a survivor and their family to gain independence.
- $250: Food for a family in shelter for a month
- $100: Fund a Prevention Education Session for school students
- $50: One hour of counseling for an adult or child survivor
- $25: Gas-up a survivor’s car to help them get to safety
Gift Card Drive
Directly support those working with Safe Monroe in need of some help – gift cards for necessities are a benefit that survivors can request from Safe Monroe to help afford gas, food, clothes.
Donations of gift cards, $25 encouraged but any denomination helps, to Walmart, Giant, Weis, or Visa/Mastercard are so appreciated and can be dropped off at our main office in Delaware Water Gap, or mailed to PO Box 645, Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327.
