Join us for our annual Take Back The Night March and Rally

Stroudsburg Courthouse Square
- Gathering at the Courthouse Square at 5 pm
- Rally kicks off at 5:15 PM with special speakers
- We start marching at 6:00 PM to ESU Stroud Hall
- At Stroud Hall, we will hear from the ESU president and a survivor
Safe Monroe is partnering with ESU’s Health and Wellness and the office of the District Attorney in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month to Shatter the Silence and Stop the Violence. We will gather at Courthouse Square in Stroudsburg at 5:00 PM. The rally will kick off at 5:15 PM with special speakers, followed by the march beginning at 6:00 PM through Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg to ESU’s Stroud Hall. The evening will conclude at Stroud Hall, where we will hear remarks from the ESU President and a survivor speaker.
What is Take Back the Night?
Take Back the Night is an international event and non-profit organization with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms. Events often include marches, rallies, and vigils intended as a protest and direct action against rape and other forms of domestic violence.

As we prepare for this year’s rally, we are inviting our community to help us create a welcoming and supportive experience for all who attend. We are currently collecting grocery and food store gift cards to provide snacks and small essentials for attendees. These items will be included in cinch bags that will be distributed at the event.
