Executive Director: Lauren Peterson, MPA

Lauren serves as Executive Director for Safe Monroe. Lauren came to Safe Monroe (then Women's Resources of Monroe County) in 2014 with 10 years of experience in the field of victim services. A graduate of both Immaculata University and West Chester University, she holds degrees in both Sociology/Criminology and her Masters of Public Administration, focusing in Nonprofit Administration.

Lauren is proud to be serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Monroe County and works hard to create sustainability and growth for the programs at Safe Monroe as it continues to partner with local agencies and the surrounding communities.
