DESCRIPTION:Join Us Tuesday\, Jan. 9\, 2024 at 5:30PM!\nUPDATE: THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER!\nPlease contact Marissa at 570-424-2093 EXT. 118 or mbuatti@safemonroe.org to get a ZOOM access link! \n  \nOur counselors have put together a support group that offers support group programs for victims and survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse\, as well as family and friends of those affected by the abuse or violence. \n“Together\, We Rise” combines traditional talking/peer support with an art workshop. \nThe objective of this group is to empower each other to rise up from the ashes of their circumstances and stand in opposition to violence. We will touch on subjects including (but not limited to)- red flags\, boundaries\, and safety planning. \nAll meetings are being held at our main office in the Delaware Water Gap. This curated collection was generously provided by local artists that believe in our mission to end abuse\, and serves as a testament to the transformative power of art\, illustrating the intricate journey individuals undertake from silence to rediscovery. \n\nJoin us on Sunday\, Jan. 14th\, for the opening reception! This event is free to attend\, however your support allows us to continue providing free and confidential services to survivors of abuse\, so we will be accepting donations throughout the lifespan of the exhibit.\nLight refreshments will be provided.
