Please join us for the Women’s Resources of Monroe County’s 12th Annual Butterfly Release for Peace at the beautiful Weiler Corporation on Tuesday\, September 13\, 2022\, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. \nFor over 40 years\, Women’s Resources has been providing support to victims of domestic and sexual violence with care and dedication. Our mission is to provide a safe and caring environment that encourages healing and empowerment for anyone whose life has been impacted by domestic and sexual violence. We strive to engage our community through awareness\, advocacy and prevention. \nThis event will help highlight the important vision of Women’s Resources to end domestic and sexual violence here in Monroe County and will feature music\, inspirational messages\, and the release of beautiful Monarch butterflies. Participants come away from the event feeling empowered and hopeful about changing the patterns of domestic and sexual violence in those brief moments when each butterfly awakens and takes flight. \nWe are sharing this invitation with you\, asking that you consider purchasing a butterfly in honor of a survivor\, or becoming a sponsor of this beautiful social gathering.
