DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Take Back The Night March and Rally	\n	Thursday\, April 2\, 2026\nStroudsburg Courthouse Square\n\nGathering at the Courthouse Square at 5 pm\nRally kicks off at 5:15 PM with special speakers\nWe start marching at 6:00 PM to ESU Stroud Hall\nAt Stroud Hall\, we will hear from the ESU president and a survivor\n\n	Safe Monroe is partnering with ESU’s Health and Wellness and the office of the District Attorney in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month to Shatter the Silence and Stop the Violence. We will gather at Courthouse Square in Stroudsburg at 5:00 PM. The rally will kick off at 5:15 PM with special speakers\, followed by the march beginning at 6:00 PM through Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg to ESU’s Stroud Hall. The evening will conclude at Stroud Hall\, where we will hear remarks from the ESU President and a survivor speaker.\n\n			What is Take Back the Night?	\n	Take Back the Night is an international event and non-profit organization with the mission of ending sexual\, relationship\, and domestic violence in all forms. Events often include marches\, rallies\, and vigils intended as a protest and direct action against rape and other forms of domestic violence.\nCome together to break the silence and end the violence!\n\n			Support our take back the night attendees	\nAs we prepare for this year’s rally\, we are inviting our community to help us create a welcoming and supportive experience for all who attend. We are currently collecting grocery and food store gift cards to provide snacks and small essentials for attendees. These items will be included in cinch bags that will be distributed at the event.\nEvery contribution makes a difference; whether it’s a $5 or $10 gift card\, your support helps us show up for our community in a meaningful way.\nGift cards can be mailed to the address below or dropped off at our Delaware Water Gap location!\n225 J.
